STRATEGIC INITIATIVES

The Indianapolis Public Schools Foundation works in tandem with Indianapolis Public Schools administration to identify the strategic priorities of the District and then secures private financial support to advance those initiatives. 

IPS administration believes all students can achieve their full potential, learn at high levels, and graduate prepared to succeed in higher education, career, and life. It is more evident than ever what is at stake and the role we all play to ensure that every student in every neighborhood receives the education and opportunities they deserve.  As a result, its four priorities were created based on the core values of the IPS district and was developed with feedback from thousands of students and families, educators, and community members. 

To complement the Strategic Plan 2025 and best support IPS with the financial resources necessary to achieve success, the IPS Foundation identified three IPS Foundation Strategic Initiatives.  The IPS Foundation continuously works to identify and partner with organizations, foundations, and corporations whose core values align with the district and partner with them in making a transformational impact at IPS.

The IPS Foundation is proud to share that more than $5.7 million has been donated in support of these Strategic Initiatives and supported an array of programs within the district since 2018.

Academic Achievement
