IPSEF Spring DonorsChoose.org Matching Grant and Workshop

Looking for more ways to get classroom supplies?

Think DonorsChoose.org is a bit confusing?

Wonder how to access IPSEF matching grant dollars?

We are pleased to announce yet another matching grant on DonorsChoose.org.  The IPSEF board has released $50,000 (!!) for the spring semester, and it will be live starting January 7.  We are so proud to support the work that IPS teachers do.  All projects from IPS teachers with a total cost of less than $1,500 will qualify (as long as there is less than 50% funding on the project).

Our fall 2013 match of $35,000 went quickly, and you can see all of the great projects here.

We are excited to offer our second annual workshop featuring Ellie Henry from IPS #67 and Kyle Bieda from Harshman Middle School where they will give you all of their inside tips for using DonorsChoose.org for your classroom.

You’ll learn:

  • How to propose a project
  • Tips for promoting your project
  • Getting funded
  • How to navigate the points system

Date:  Tuesday, January 28

Time:  4:30 p.m.

Place:  IPS School Board Room (in the Ed. Center)

Light refreshments will be provided.

And while we’ve got you…

It’s not too late to sign up for a payroll deduction gift to the Foundation!  We can’t do any of this work without your help!
