DowntownLiving-rectangleAs we at the IPS Education Foundation know, one of the keys to a strong, thriving city is a strong school system. Another key is great options for downtown living. Indianapolis Monthly is hosting a great event this September that benefits both of these aspects of a thriving downtown.

This month, Indianapolis Monthly’s Downtown Living Tour will benefit the IPS Education Foundation. The tour will showcase beautiful downtown apartment and condominium projects. They will feature multiple high-end downtown and residential projects. The tour will have 6 stops, including 800 North Capitol Apartments, Allen Plaza, Artistry Apartments, Axis, Circa Apartments  and The Maxwell Apartments.

The festivities start on Friday, September 12, where attendees will be shuttled to each residential project and enjoy gourmet appetizers and drinks. The Friday evening portion of the event is for participants ages 21 and over. Saturday, September 13, the tour continues as viewers of all ages are taken to each of the beautiful downtown spaces. Indianapolis Public Schools is helping provide buses for the event.

All proceeds from the Downtown Living Tour will go to the IPS Education Foundation. This event is a great way to celebrate downtown Indianapolis and the things that make it a great place to live: public education and beautiful residential spaces.

Tickets are $25 to attend both Friday and Saturday, and $10 to attend just Saturday. Sponsors includeFirst Merchants Bank, Carnivor Wine and Downtown Indy.

Find more information about the event and buy tickets here. If you’re planning to attend, be sure to tweet with the hashtag #IndyDowntown.
