March 19, 2014 — The Indianapolis Public Schools Education Foundation (IPSEF) announced the election of four new members to its Board of Directors: Kevin Bailey, co-founder and CMO of DigitalRelevance and Slingshot SEO, Deb Kunce, owner of CORE Planning Strategies, Girtha Perkins, Senior Compliance Analyst in the PLM division of Vertafore, Inc, and Cory Schouten, managing editor at Indianapolis Business Journal.
In addition, Scott Grotjan, President of KSM Profit Advisors, LLC, was elected for a second term as Board President. Also returning to the Executive Committee for a second term are Errol Spears, retired social studies teacher, as Vice President; Aaron Bradshaw, state and local tax manager for AES Corporation, as Treasurer; and Andy Pollen, account director for Borshoff, as Secretary.

The new members have a wide range of professional experiences to contribute to the IPSEF Board or Directors:
Kevin Bailey is a co-founder and CMO of DigitalRelevance and Slingshot SEO, enterprise digital marketing companies based in Indianapolis. Kevin has over fifteen years of marketing, technology and business management experience and is a regular contributor to Inc. Magazine. He graduated from Indiana University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in business.
Debra Kunce, FAIA, LEED AP, owns the Indianapolis based management and consulting company, CORE Planning Strategies, focused on helping clients execute facility construction projects. Deb is a registered Architect who applies creative design strategies with practical implementation and has been recognized by her professional and business community as IBJ’s Forty Under 40 and Midwest Construction’s Top 20 Young Professionals in 2011.
Girtha R Perkins, is the Senior Compliance Analyst in the PLM division of Vertafore, Inc. a software services company serving the insurance and financial services industry. Girtha is a native of Birmingham Alabama and a graduate of Indiana University. She is a member and elder of Northminster Presbyterian Church, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the Indianapolis Chapter of The Links, Inc.
Cory Schouten is managing editor at Indianapolis Business Journal. He previously worked as a reporter for IBJ, and at daily newspapers in Arizona and Florida. He’s an Indianapolis native and Indiana University graduate.
